What exactly does Hubspot do?

This is a question that I was asking myself when I first took a look into Hubspot. I felt that the price was on the higher end and was unclear of what I was getting in return. My hope is that this article will help you save some time and frustration by answering this question in a straight forward way.

Hubspot has many features and if you do not use most of them, it can seem like you are overpaying for marketing software. As an Inbound Marketing Company, we have tried and used our fair share of marketing software over the years like Infusionsoft, Marketo, Constant Contact, MailChimp, Autopilot, and many others. It turns out that Hubspot not only gives us all of the tools we need, but it is also very easy to use (surprise!).

In all fairness, I know that some of these tools overlap, and some of these tools have features that Hubspot may not. What we’ve found is that there is a “law of diminishing return” when you get too deep into the details. You can get too focused on the granular details, that you can lose sight of the bigger picture. Not only have we been able to focus more on what really matters, eliminating our software stack and switching to Hubspot has allowed us to save money each month.
